Slime Powerspair Piece Tire Repair

The 12v pump in the kit pumps very fast and is in all likelihood the best 12v inflator that I have come across. Comes with everything you need to plug a tire, and a large container of wondrous slime. as well has a long hose with quick connects and the case is genuinely nice. The only thing that is bad when it comes to this kit is the air gauge. It is in truth cheaply made. It has a very cool LED thing at the bottom that lights it up but the plastic keeping it on is very little and it was broken off on arival. There are in addition tools to take out the air valves etc..

Overall a outstanding kit, and all you need to carry in your car for emergency tire needs.

I bought this kit after switching to conventional tires. It contains everything you need to make various repairs, although whether or not you have anything more spectacular than the diameter of a pen, best have a person to call.

The compressor is the best portion of the kit. It’s quiet, fast and sturdy, and it includes a small LED light. It does require a 15 amp connection; the kit includes a battery clip adapter whether or not your lighter isn’t rated for it is The gauge is suspect though. I checked it against two other gauges (including the one that comes with the kit), and the compressor gauge systematically reads too low.

The air hose screws onto your valve stem and provides a secure, leak-proof connection, but whether or not the valve stem is dirty, this might pose a minor inconvenience.

Overall, a good kit, but I hope I never have to use it is

I’ve not yet popped a tire, but I feel well prepared to do so.

My notes:

This kit comes wit, instructions, many times illustrated, on how to use most of the items here.

There are spare valve caps and those small doohickeys that go in the valve stem (I’ve perpetually been afraid to lose valve caps).

That big jug of green stuff seems to be sufficient for only one car tire but did not seem to be intended for cars. I had to use most of it for my bicycle anyway.

The air compressor (probably 80-90% of the total cost) works great. The ten minute window they commend you use it in is probably more than sufficient to fill one tire, but not quite sufficient to take all four of my tires from 12 to 32 psi. The air compressor’s cigarette lighter charger retained popping out of my cigarette lighter but worked fine. I did not undertake to hook it directly to my battery, but it comes with an attachment to do so.

Compressor:

I use it all the time, I’m in construction and I visit dump places very often, I get a nail or a screw in my tire at least twice a month. This unit is to the full or entire extent able to inflate a 18″ tire on my truck(s). This is the third set I have purchased, last one lasted nearly one year before I burned it is

Does this one get hot? Yes. dont lick it.

Dont buy crap from Kragen, Costco,.. they may not even inflate loaded truck.. such a outstanding deal of may but you’ll burn them. if you are going to keep it in a trunk of your car, then this will last forever..

There are better merchandise on the market but when you see the price you’ll come back to this one.

The rest of the package:

plugs may be bought separately once you use them up.

Slime fluid I do not use so find other reviews for it.

MUST:

Add a pair of nozzle pliers to your kit and such a heap of rubber glue (you may use the plugs only but only to get to your nearest tire guy, unless you put numerous glue on the plug before you push it in, then it’s called permanent patch).

This is an off-road need to have for any individual who likes to tear up the dirt! I use this kit to keep my truck and two ATVs rolling.

Bought this pump/repair kit from Wal-Mart the other day for around $52 bucks. Bought an Infiniti G35 sports car with aftermarket 18″ rims and performance tires a few months ago. The car originally comes with a spare tire kit, but the previous possessor had got rid of the spare tire since after letting down the car the spare would no longer fit, and it saves a couple lbs on weight when using the performance side of the car.

After replacing the two front tires, one of them kept getting low and I was filling it up regarding once a week. After a few weeks, I decisive to take matters into my own hands and grab such a heap of slime and a portable air pump to keep mend the tire and keep as a backup in the car since there is no spare tire. My parents employed slime in my bikes when I was kid and it always worked flawlessly so I was hoping it would solve my car tire troubles as well.

I employed the kit to effortlessly put in regards to 16oz of slime into every of my front tires and utilized the aweinspiring air pump (believe me this thing is very high quality) to fill up each of the tires in 2-3 minutes. Two weeks later, both tires are great and the one that was leaking has had no problems.

HIGHLY recommend this kit for anybody who does not have a spare tire in their small sports car, any individual who wants to prevent tire troubles before they happen, or anyone who wants a $50 dollar tire “insurance” kit for long road trips.

The air pump alone is worth the cost, and also comes with tips for inflating toys and basketballs/footballs. I expect this pump will last for 20+ years. I can’t stress sufficient how impressed I am with the build quality, speed of inflation, and quietness of the pump.

Great compact kit. Air compressor works excellent. Contains everything you need to mend a flat speedily and efficiently.

I bought this same kit from a hardware store when I had a flat and knew it was due to a incorrect valve core on my tire and didn’t feel like altering a utterly good tire in a parking garage. At the hardware store this kit ran me $80 so this price on Amazon is a great deal. I’m a gearhead and at initial thought it was just a cheap little gimmick but after using it, I am sold. The kit comes with spare valve cores and a key. It pumped up my tire from completely flat to 30psi in with regards to 5 mins, way quicker than altering the whole tire. Ignore the bad reviews, they evidently did not read the 1 page manual that comes with it! Save yourself such a lot of upset and read it while you’re waiting for your tire to inflate. The kit is for emergencies only, not your each and everyday use air compressor. If this is what you’re planning on using it for then I doubt it will last very long. It says to not let it run longer than 10 mins or something or it shuts off automatically because it is too hot. Unplug it and let it cool down (like any air compressor), then you can use it again. It also distinctly states not to rely on the built in pressure gauge (again, like all air compressors) and it comes with a manual tire gauge to check the pressure before you take off.

The one thing I am somewhat disappointed with is the bottle of slime is for ATV/Mower tires only, you shouldn’t put it in your car tire. It worked for me cause I didn’t need to use it and the only thing I use slime in is bike and mower tires anyway cause it is a pain to clean out of the tire and rim when you adjust a tire (I do mine myself so that’s why I care). They do sell slime for highway use anyplace if you in truth want to add it to your kit.

Long story short, I’m very happy with this kit so far and am buying one for my dad and grandpa for Christmas!

was excessively affected emotionally to get this item information going to test this for my house hold (i am a former mechanic team lead for a ford dealership) and see if i like it and than buy one for my dad and mom for xmas.

packaging was nice. i like the case and how it was organized.

i like what it came with – a finelooking comprehensible kit that had extra schrader valves, tier plugs, battery adaptors (important to me so i dont blow cigarette adaptor fuse) and what looks like a long hose and power line.

what a disappointment.

the gauge didnt read correctly. my hand tire guage read it at 30 and this in pump gauge read it at 26? consistantly 4-6 psi lower all over the board. i even tried a dissimilar hand gauge and same result. From other reviews of other pumps, this is an ‘industry standard’ i guess… most pumps like this are off.

so i connected it up and thought i can make due.. what a hunk of junk. i connected it all and sat.. and sat.. and sat. 10+ minutes to add 4 psi to a tire??? air was flowing correctly. i applied to properly. just such a small pump i guess. i mean i dont have THAT much time to sit and wait for all the tires to pump up when it is only that fast. 10 mins for 4 psi.. i realise that it ‘pumps’ its own air and does not store air for ready supply.. but can u imagine being on the side of the road and having to go from flat to full (i have my own tire repair kit so yea, flat tire i can mend no problem).

going to 36 psi @ 10 min per 4 psi – i would sit and wait 90 minutes.

lol

junkjunkjunkjunk

will be returning asap

the dang thing broke down on my third used.

I employed it to pump my car tires on the third time the dang thing over heats and shuts down.
