Babybjorn Babysitter Balance Brown Beige
I was searching for a seat we could use for our son with moderate/severe reflux. We’ve been holding him in an extra car seat but it is a irritation and not safe unless we strap him in. Most seats/swings seem to make him curve too much and sit back. This seat is great. The most upright position is sooo upright, he just loves to have conversations and kick his legs in it (couldn’t do in the car seat). And whether or not he gets sleep, I may without apparent effort lay him back in it and he’ll still be at a nice angle for his reflux issues. The fabric is soft and without apparent effort washable as I’ve already found out. Wish it was regarding 50 bucks cheaper because that’s what I see as the value (I got mine on sale on Amazon for 120) but I am very pleased with this purchased It’s as well nice that you may just slide them in and out without having to fuss at all with straps or snaps. outstanding productions
I scarcely ever write reviews, but for this product I just had poisonous I have a 4 year old son that I wish I would have ran into this chair sooner…. I am a large fan of reading parents reviews and couldn’t find galore on this specifi item…. I have a 2 month old right now and I was researching bouncers before she was born, I had a large swing that was my sons which he loved…. I needed something a small more compact. Well let me just tell you , I was a small skeptical on spending that kind of $$ on a bouncer…. But it had a couple of pros light weight, may be washed, and may be folded for trips to grandma’s house. I have had this bouncer since my daughter was 1 week old and she LOVES it, and so do I…. as a tiny infant she would fall asleep on it as her own motion would rock her, and she looked so comfy, I as well purchased the wood toy, which at 1 week old didn’t genuinely make perceived My daughter just turned 8 weeks and she has in the end learned to push it coo at its It was aweinspiring observing her… she still falls asleep in it and she looks so peaceful. And the best portion is they didn’t name it babysitter for nothing!!! It’s my babysitter when I am cooking, cleaning, and just trying to do anything…. she even watches my son as he plays all around the house and runs around, now I may position her to the second level, but we still use the first. I can’t say better things when it comes to this, in particular now that I realize she isn’t a swell fan of the swing!!! Moms and Dads take it from a Mom that does her research… this will be one of the best purchases you may make, yes it’s pricey, but frankly it’s priceless!!! Can’t put a price on a happy baby!!!! And get the wooden toy!!! I wish I could give this bouncer 10 stars!!!! and once they may walk they may still sit in it!!! Hope this assists any undecided parents!!! I did get the air in all black….. And yes, amazon had the best price!!!!
I’ve in truth owned both the Baby Sitter 1-2-3 and the new Balance and the Balance is soooo much posing no difficulty to adjust. I severely fought with the other one to modify alter this is just my problem) but the new one is so easy to alter and wont wake the baby with a earsplitting clicking noise and shaking. It’s in addition better looking (IMO). The only thing the old one has is the great toy bar that came with it, but the new toy bar is nice too. I’m exceedingly picky but I love this bouncer. You will too! Also, they have incredible customer service, which is rare now.
This chair/bouncer is genuinely costly which is the only reason why it is 4/5 stars and not 5.
Now that we’ve dealt with the price, I will go on to say that it’s worth the money. I in addition have a much cheaper Fisher Price bouncer (the one with vibration) which my 3.5 month old son doesn’t look as comfortable in. I think it’s because with the Fisher Price bouncer, his legs stick out at an nearly 90 degree angle from his body.
With the Babybjorn however, he’s genuinely sitting with his bottom supporting his weight, with his legs hanging down as whether or not he were in a real chair. I in truth like the fact that he kicks his legs and can be more active in the Bjorn. He can as well sit more upright in the Bjorn, allowing him to see more around him.
Theoretically, there are three settings: play, rest and sleep, but the difference in angle isn’t that big. I have been competent to alter the recline angle easily while he’s in the chair.
We are taking a long road trip this summer and because the chair folds flat, we will be unquestionably be taking it with us when we go.
I saw this on my Amazon rec’s and was a small doubtful when it comes to it because of the highpriced After watching numerous youtube videos of babies screaming in delight on it, I decisive to take the plunge. Our daughter is only two months old, so she can’t muster sufficient kicking force to rock herself (I don’t think she even realise cause and effect yet), but putting her in the chair and rocking it with our feet has been a great way to calm her down when she’s trouble and brings out the biggest smiles. We’ve left it in the “sleep” position without the body restraint attached, but will most likely commence fastening the harness when she gets a small older and grads to the upper two positions.
To attempt and instruct her how to kick operate the chair, I’ve been placing my forearm under her feet then letting go to assist her push off — she loves this game. Today after playing the kick game for regarding 10 minutes, I halted to eat galore lunch and when I looked back, she had the saddest look on her face and I saw a lonely tear rolling down her cheek. Our daughter hasn’t devised sufficient tears to really come out of her eyes, not from immunizations, heel sticks, or having 8 hour diapers… until now.
Pros:
1) No automatic parts, so it stops when your baby stops. We were worried our daughter would get addicted to the vibrating chair. it is Folds up nice and flat, easy to carry and it’s light.
3) Proportional response to how much the baby is moving, I like this more than a swing.
4) Baby friggin loves it!
Cons
1) I think it’s a small overpriced, so whether or not you can find it someplace for fewer than one hundred it’s a small posing no difficulty to stomach if the baby doesn’t like its
2) The toy bar accessory is really expensive. We had the Tiny Love Sunny Stroller Arch (less than half the price of the bjorn toybar) for her car seat and it attaches to the Bjorn too. When we firstborn put it on and bounced, our daughter’s eyes went wide in amazement at all the dangling bits swinging around.
We bought it when our son was 3 weeks old from a co-worker. If I hadn’t been capable to purchase it from a friend, I would not have hesitated to pays trading for it is IT IS WORTH IT!!! Buying it after the baby was various weeks old really showed us how utile it is.
We can set him in the chair while we cook dinner, take a shower if the other parent is gone (with him in the bathroom), or just let him have such a great deal of quiet play time.
My son absolutely despised tummy time until he was around 4 months old, so this was a total lifesaver. When he got tired of being flat on his back, I could set him up in this for a change of perspective and he would be perfectly content for 15-30 minutes. Trust me when 15-30 minutes a day of occupied, calm baby is worth the steep price they charge for this sucker. We as well have the toy bar, and I will say that the baby does play with its
I like that it’s very well designed, has a comparatively high weight limit, is very adjustable, and is plainly designed with quality materials. We didn’t want such a heap of garish, plastic, vibrating monstrosity in the middle of our living room.
We own the bjorn carrier (which I hate, but my husband couldn’t say enough good things about), travel crib and babysitter, and they are all so convenient and well thought out.
When taking into account the high price, as well realize that quality productions will have a high resale value when you’re done, vs. cheap plastic crap. So really, they potentially end up being a better buy, as you get more of your money back when you sell its
This seat is a must-have. After copious research, I purchased the Bjorn seat versus the advisement of friends, who believed that the chair was too expensive because my son would tire of it after three months like any bouncy chair. Thirteen months later, my son still uses the chair every day and my friends get the seat as a gift for their second children.
My son actually slept in his seat for the initial month of his life, and I do not recognise what we would have done without it is Yes, initially we had to bounce him in it, but he was very content. Sooner than we thought, he learned to rock himself and the sight alone of little legs moving in perfective rhythm is reason enough to get the seat. To this day, he starts his day in his chair while I make breakfast and loves to sit in it while we make dinner. It enables him to be a allocation of the action, while safely contained, yet he is still expending energy to bounce.
I would advise any parent to remunerate any quantity for this chair. It is light weight and folds completely flat so it travels everywhere with us and acts as a seat for feeding in a pinch. Washing it is as simple as throwing it in the laundry. Bounce for bounce it is a better buy than any other seat out there, and if that were not enough, it actually looks nice in the house.
I had placed this on my wish list and my mother bought it for me. I received the Brown/Beige sitter and love that it is reversible. I also love the neutral colors; it is perfect for all decors and blends well.
When I saw the thing online I did not think my baby would be capable to make use of the sitter until she was a bit bigger. However, at nearly 4 weeks she is sitting in it comfortably and LOVES it! I thought the sling type sitting would only hold them up at the waist area. Little did I know, until I placed her in it, the sitter makes a seat like pocket for them. She loves to sit in the sitter and look around and seems very content. I also added the BABYBJÖRN BabySitter Wooden Toy , it fits on the sitter perfectly and does not appear that it will fall off from little fingers/hands playing with its I am very impressed with the construction with the chair, the wooden toy bar, and the cover. The cover I have for it is the BABYBJÖRN BabySitter Cozy Cover . I have not placed it on the sitter yet but it washed well when I received its I have not had to use it yet since my daughter has been very warm while in the sitter.
I recognise the sitter and accessories may seem highpriced but for the quality it is worth it is You can tell this is something that is going to be around for awhile with how well it is made. It is supposed to be utilized up to 24 months or 29 pounds. When I original used it for my daughter she was 10 pounds and the minimum weight for the sitter is 8 pounds. I was concerned when it comes to neck/head assist but have not had any issues. She is a very strong baby and already holds her neck and the sitter cradles the back of her head into the chair. Please be careful although if you have a tiny baby that their neck may not be in the right manner supported.
Right now I keep the sitter in the living room within view of the kitchen and other main areas. I want my daughter to be competent to see me and or course for me to see her. The sitter/chair is very easy to move and I expect for the holidays coming up this will be one of the things I pack up to take to grandma’s house so my daughter can have a full view of everything that is going on and also all the people.
If price is not a problem for you, this sitter with both of the accessories is well worth its If you think about spending fifty so many dollars on something that only lasts a few months and replace it with something else in essence you are going to be spending the same amount of money over the long run as you would with this. I guess it is a personal preference but my preference is this sitter. I hope you take delight in it as much as I have and also my daughter. A photo of her in the chair with the wooden bar can be found in the photo gallery above.
As the proud parents of three children, we have came all over that each child is very different. The baby instrumentation that works great for one child does not work at all for another. This is the initial time we have tried a bouncer like this one, and it has been a hit. Our two month old son loves it is I would highly commend also getting the toy bar that attaches across the front. We bought the Babybjorn, even though it is more expensive, because it is light and it folds down very small. It has worked out wondrously for us.
