Neewer Tt520 Speedlite Digital Cameras

Okay, basi off I am not a pro-photographer so I can’t tell you how this flash compares to higher quality type, but from my perspective this delivers all that’s promised. in addition as an added bonus it includes a built-in wide panel and a reflectiveness board, which give such a good deal of in truth good results. Just wanted to mention that because I did not see it in the description. I shoot with a T3I and it works absolutely in sync with the camera. One thing I can’t comment on is how it works wirelessly, but when it’s employed in manual mode it has lived up to my expectations. Changing angles is easily achieved and it in addition marks the degrees (45,60,75,90) which is nice when you’re unsure. All in all, in my opinion, this is the flash to get when photography is a hobby, a learning experience, and/or an every day use (kids, family, etc) . Hope this helps.

P.S. One thing I forgot to mention, this flash does NOT work in live views Canon makes it so that only their flashes are designed to let you fire while using the screen; so whether or not you’re one of those individuals that alternatively chooses to use the screen over the viewfinder, then this flash is not for you.

Update: I have in the long run applied this flash in slave mode. I placed my camera on a tripod, customized the camera flash to the lowest setting, and put the flash roughly 25ft away to see if it would shoot and it did. I did notice that not one thing can be directly in front of the TT520 or it would not shoot. Either that or raise the flash on the camera so it would notice the light. I also tried to use the TT520 in a photoshoot where my main lights were ceaseless and it had a hard time detecting the “master” flash. On a side note, this flash still work perfectly fine and delivers outstanding results ever since I got its I have and would commend this to friends.

This flash is bare bones. there is no zoom feature (automatic or manual). The only options are the different modes (manual, slave1, slave2), power outputs (full down to 1/128th power), as well as a test button. build quality is on-par for an inexpensive flash.

For those that are expecting an astounding flash unit for the price, you will be disappointed.

If, however, you are looking for some inexpensive off-camera flashes, than these may be for you. the optical slave mode works just fine, firing off whenever the unit sees another flash fire.

they are so inexpensive, they can do the “dirty work” you don’t want your pricey flashes to do. if they happen to fall and break? no worries, they are cheap enough to replace.

I’ve only had this unit for fewer than a week, but so far, it works as I expected it toxi Would I ever mount this on my camera to use? never. would I use it as an off-camera slave? that’s what I purchased it for.

If anything changes, I’ll update this review.

This flash feels a bit flimsy and housing seems instead cheap. Good light from it though. AA batteries waste beauteous fast. Recommend for the expensive

I will for certain be picking up more of these guys, a large total of power, and the perfective price in case my clumsiness gets the best of me! Works swell with my cowboy wireless system!

I just bought this item 2 days ago and obtained it today by way of UPS. I was a small reluctant at firstborn on buying this because of a lot of old negative feedback on this item… but I am so glad i took the leap and bought the TT520. The design looks swell and it feels pretty sturdy. The wireless flash works great. It may not beat a $150-$400+ flash, but if your on a budget and need an external flash you cannot beat the price of this thing anywhere else.

Good flash does what its expect to, setting are very user friendly and it has a built in reflector. swell for any person looking for a good flash for not alot of money.

Neewer TT520 Flash Speedlite for Canon/Nikon Digital SLR Cameras

I can’t even get started to tell you how excessively affected emotionally I am to have this in my bag now. I am fabulously excited! sturdy and heavy, feels great on the camera body. head swivels which makes it easy to use and project light where ever you want it! I can’t wait to use it more but i’m telling you now, for the price, you can’t go wrong!!!

For such an affordable price this flash works great for beginners or professionals. Didn’t take long to get started using it rectify and taking awesome photographs

This was an splendid bought I was skeptical because of the reviews I read about the flash dying, no instructions, etc. But I received this in pristine condition, directions and all. Not to mention the product itself is great and east to use as a basi time user. Definitely happy.

The value for the price compensated is excellent. My Canon Rebel wasn’t recognizing the flash; however, after gaing guidance from seller and the book, was capable to figure it out. It is amazing that the exact same flash developed by Canon, sells for seven times the price!
