Itoya Profolio Evolution Storage Display
I bought this art portfolio to hold a few video game lithographs (high quality artwork art that I have purchased over the past couple months. I intend on habit framing the prints, but due to the high prices related with doing this, I wanted to have something to hold them and keep them protected for the time being.
The portfolio itself is very nice. The outer covering is a sturdy yet pliable plastic embroidered with a nylon strip to keep the edges from getting damaged. The plastic sleeves within are very thin. In fact, they feel incisively like the plastic paper protectors you buy for inserting into a binder, accept on a much more prominent scale. The sleeves comprise a black sheet of paper (slightly thinner than construction paper), which is cut to fit precisely within the sleeves. The aim for these black sheets are to allow you to put two prints, back-to-back, within one sleeve.
The portfolio does not have a zipper, clasp or any other keeping device for keeping the portfolio closed. This is my greatest complaint. I would have also wished that the sleeves were more or less heavier.
Overall, the portfolio is not perfect, but it looks nice and will protect my art for the time being.
The Itoya 18″ x 24″ Presentation Portfolio is the perfective size and quality for archiving the newspaper clippings documenting my father’s participation in the “Freedom Rides” in the south in 1962. This will keep these clippings (despite their extremely awkward size) in good shape for my children and their children.
I have 3 of these portfolios and am very happy. I use them to store the artwork both my kids make and it looks great.
I have been looking for an item like this in our area & couldn’t find one. Then I found a dissimilar size in a store but it wasn’t the one I needed. They were kind enough to give me the name of the product (ITOYA) and then I googled it & got it on Amazon.
I am still going to purchase photo boxes in the future because I am so please with the speed of delivery & of course the product itself.
Thank you ITOYA, AMAZON & the photo shop where these were sold from for making my life easier.
This is a very nice item considering the low expensive I have other professional art portfolios (witch cost much more) and I am utilized to the higher quality. Compared to others, the pages of this product are very flimsy; the plastic is floppy and rippley, and the black paper is also very flimsy, unlike your ordinary heavy weight portfolio paper witch is almost cardstock. So if you are willing to sacrifice a small bit of quality and professional look, this product surely is the best costly
My boyfriend was looking for something to store his old artwork in, and he loves this! it has a outstanding deal of room, and the pages include a slip of black paper as a nice backdrop to his art. the pages aren’t too flimsy, and the cover is nice and strong feelings Great item for the costly
I already have 2 of the 8.5 x 11 & they’re great for my art. I need to get the bigger ones because I have a lot of a 18x 24 pieces that are just put in a pile & I need to coordinate them. I have had different portfolios in the past that just didn’t suit my needs & these work the best for me so far.
Great products I got this for numerous of my smaller concert posters and first comic artwork. Can’t beat the price, and it is well made.
